View Event: Data skill in the Cloud: Unlocking the Possibilities

This session is for data professionals who have been working with on-premises technology for years and are now considering the transition to cloud services. In this session, we will discuss the key areas of database administration, such as system provisioning, data migration, data security, performance tuning and monitoring, disaster recovery, high availability, backup and recovery, and cost management.

We will explore how existing skills can be leveraged and what new skills must be acquired to transition to the cloud successfully. Additionally, I will cover the tools provided by cloud providers that will need to be learned and used.

By the end of this session, attendees will better understand the skills and tools needed to transition to the cloud.
